buzz

I was trying to feed Hetty to sleep this afternoon and she kept pointing and buzzing and flapping her wings towards me and I kept saying 'where?' and she kept saying 'there' and pointing at me and buzzing. I was worried I was being bitten by a very sneaky mosquito but no, it was the mole on my arm. She gave it a kiss goodnight and could then finally rest!

Hetty's birthday party was today. This is the present I was most excited about! Hetty's new friend Katie made it, it is a sock giraffe and absolutely beautiful.

After a busy lovely day we Hetty did some cheeky early birthday present opening with Grandma, this is a pop up book called Dear Zoo and Hetty loves it, well done Grandma!

I am going to blame Jack for this, I am too out of practice to draw such a fidgety model. He really is much more handsome than this and was in an odd position with all his limbs hidden and his bottom halfway up the wall. Oh dear, I have some work to do.

We went to Albans Barnyard today to draw their lovely animals to go on the walls of their holiday lets. This is a cow, a brown cow, but I'm afraid I can tell you no more.
